Job Description

Insight Global’s client is seeking a Safety Coordinator to oversee safety operations across multiple data center construction sites in Northern Virginia. This role serves as the primary liaison for safety between construction teams and the client. The ideal candidate will have proven experience enforcing safety standards on construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective measures.
Document and report workplace incidents and near misses promptly.
Assist with root cause analysis and implement preventive strategies.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation.
Lead daily safety briefings and toolbox talks.
Provide guidance on safe work practices to all site personnel.
Inspect emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kits) daily.
Update evacuation plans and coordinate scheduled drills.
Keep detailed logs of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.

$20/hr to $30/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

1–3 years of experience in a safety-related role
Strong ability to address and resolve safety concerns on construction sites in compliance with OSHA standards

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in data center or large-scale construction environments
Familiarity with emergency response planning and drills
Strong communication and documentation skills
