A large Biometrics and Augmented Identity company is looking to hire a remote Cloud Security FISMA SME to help achieve FISMA High compliance. Responsibilities include analyzes and defines business requirements to determine specifications and standards; proposes and develops solutions. Deploys and oversees implementation and integration of web-based applications, ensuring that appropriate information security standards are met. Maintains reports, logs, or other records of security audits. Monitors system uptime and performance, troubleshooting and resolving errors. Stays informed of emerging cloud technologies and evaluates their value to the organization's operations. This individual needs to be a SME in FISMA as they will provide subject matter technical knowledge and analysis to support functional areas of a project.

5+ years of experience in information security with hands-on experience in FEDRAMP/FISMA compliance.
Familiarity with cloud environments and comprehensive understanding of NIST 800-53.
Ability to translate NIST 800-53 control requirements to implemented solutions.
Strong experience with core AWS services.
Proficiency in Security tools, such as Splunk, Tenable Nessus, Qualys, ArcSight, or similar.
Familiarity with Incident Response.
