outhland is seeking an employer to assist the Division Safety Manager and leadership in enforcing and regulating all safety procedures to ensure that Southland Industries meets all safety requirements in the field and all facilities by managing and coordinating all division safety activities within the Sterling, VA market
- Tours and inspects small or large, complex job sites to ensure compliance with company, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations
- Maintains all site required documentation related to safety issues, including accident reports, inspection reports and training logs
- Documents information for the investigation of accidents and injuries and submits data to regulatory agencies as required and consults with manager on decisions that significantly impact the company
- Ensures Enforcement of OSHA regulations and company safety policies

- 7-10 years' experience in a Safety Construction Environment, including employee training experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety, health, or Environmental Applied Sciences OR Associate Safety Professional (ASP) Certification
- OSHA 10hr and OSHA 30hr
- CPR and First Aid Certifications
- Must be able to successfully pass a BC Check
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety, health, or Environmental Applied Sciences
- Proficient in health and safety management systems; OSHA CFR 1926 standards or the state construction safety regulations
- Previous project management experience
- Excellent intangibles and customer service skills
- Safety Management Experience in Semi-Conductor Industry
- OSHA 40hr training
- OSHA 500
- Have a CHST certification
