Job Description
Our client is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer to support a federal client in Springfield, VA.
- Supporting Cisco infrastructure to include Cisco Meeting Server, Cisco Session Border Controllers (CUBE), Cisco Firewalls, Cisco Switches, and Cisco endpoints.
- Studying network traffic and potential security risks
- Leveraged for Cisco expertise for upgrades, migration and implementation initiates
- Support network implementation including installation, test, deployment, management, update and maintenance of software and hardware
-Leading efforts on network architecture design and optimization
Pay Rate Range: $60-70/hr

Required Skills & Experience
- Active Top Secret / SCI
- At least 6 years of experience in networking, VOIP and/or Cisco support
- CCNA certified ( CCNP-Cisco Collaboration ideal)
- Past experience supporting a Linux environment
- Well versed in Cisco products, routers, switches and VOIP technologies
- Experience supporting EXSI or general VMWare servers
- Need proficiency with Cisco CallManager or Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Meeting Server (CMS)
