Job Description
The Field Engineer is part of the project management team responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications. This involves a range of tasks, including project planning, resource management, quality control, and communication with stakeholders. Site Engineers work on the project site(s) they are supporting.
○ Capture daily field activity and crew progress
○Photograph work completed each day
○Perform basic QA/QC field inspections
○Track crew productivity (ex: conduit footage installed)
○Collect production info from each crew daily
○Log daily data into Excel and SharePoint
○Maintain photo logs and field reports
○Work directly with field crews to gather info
○Support data collection (no underground expertise required, but strongly preferred)
○ No vertical construction experience, horizontal/heavy civil required

Required Skills & Experience
Six months to one year in a construction environment - self performed work preferred.
Experience with an Infrastructure EPC, with a focus in underground utility/telcomm
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Horizontal/Heavy civil construction
