Position Overview
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Safety Coordinator to sit fully onsite in Richmond, VA. The Site Safety Coordinator supports Crew Foremen and General Foremen in developing Job Hazard Analyses to ensure OSHA compliance. This entry-level role is focused on delivering world-class customer experience and quality, and plays a key part in building trusted relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Training & Awareness: Assist in developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Incident Reporting: Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of workplace, equipment, and facilities.
• Emergency Response: Help develop emergency plans and assist during drills.
• Record Keeping: Maintain safety records and generate reports.
• Safety Committees: Participate in meetings and recommend improvements.
• Safety Communication: Create safety bulletins, posters, and newsletters.
• PPE Monitoring: Ensure proper use and availability of personal protective equipment.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to safety initiatives and process enhancements.
Compensation:
$25/hr to $32/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves
• OSHA 30 Certification
• 1-5 years of experience in a safety role
• Ability to conduct safety training
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bilingual - or ability to understand/communicate in Spanish
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Data center, construction or electrical experience are a plus
