Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support their manufacturing customer in The Greater Richmond, VA area. This person will serve as the lead Electrical Engineer and technical point of contact for customers during manufacturing, test and delivery phases for their end customer. They will provide technical support and direction to manufacturing teams and work closely with engineering team to support electrical validation, factory acceptance testing and failure analysis. This person will act as the subject matter expert when it comes to electrical documentation, schematics, issue triage, analysis, BOMs and electrical requirement process and execution from their end customer.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing, integration or test of industrial power generation/distribution related electrical systems.
Knowledge of electrical safety and compliance standards (NFPA 70/70E, UL, and IEC)
Experience in a customer facing engineering or technical role.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
