Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Data Analyst and Conversion Manager to support a large-scale system modernization effort for a healthcare client. This individual will play a critical role in validating the successful migration of Medicaid claims and member data from a legacy mainframe DB2 environment into a new database structure. While a third-party vendor will execute the data movement, this consultant will own the verification, reconciliation, and documentation of the conversion, ensuring the data is accurate, complete, and functional. This is a highly technical, backend-focused role ideal for someone who has led or supported similar enterprise data conversion efforts and can confidently operate as the sole technical expert in high-stakes validation discussions.
This position can pay $55-70/hr based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of experience in data analysis and large-scale data conversion initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with mainframe DB2 data environments.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex query validation.
• Strong experience with Teradata (querying, validation, reconciliation).
• Deep understanding of ETL processes and transformation logic.
• Proven experience verifying data migrations and ensuring data integrity.
• Ability to document technical findings clearly and explain outcomes to stakeholders.
• Prior participation in enterprise-level system conversions (mainframe to modern platforms).
• Ability to work independently with minimal client-side oversight.
