Job Description

The DevEx Engineer III role involves leading initiatives to understand and address the needs and challenges of software developme nt

teams, implementing developer tools and automating workflows, participating in strategic planning, and providing technical leadership

and mentorship related to developer experience.

Hourly pay depending on experience: $60-70

Required Skills & Experience

* Extensive experience in software development, developer tooling, and automating developer workflows.

* Expertise in optimizing GitLab platform management to enhance developer workflows, focusing on implementing efficient practic es

in version control, CI/CD integration, and containerization to streamline operations and improve overall developer productivi ty.

* Proficiency in programming languages and scripting languages relevant to automating developer workflows.

* Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD tools, and containerization technologies.

* Deep understanding of developer experience principles, tools, and workflows.

* Experience in leading and mentoring teams of developers or engineers.

* Strong technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration abilities.

This is a mentoring role for a brand new team.
Richmond Virginia with a hybrid schedule.
