Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior MS Collaboration Engineer who will oversee and enhance the performance, reliability, and security of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. This role involves advanced problem-solving, strategic planning, and leadership in managing critical projects and mentoring junior staff. The hourly rate for this position is $60-75/hr and based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Expertly manage, monitor and optimize Microsoft 365 resources (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for current and new processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
Utilize advanced PowerShell scripting for application programming, automation, and issue resolution.
Serve as a subject matter expert in Microsoft collaboration tools and related technologies.
Perform system software upgrades including planning and scheduling, coordination and deploying
Ensure availability and performance of systems and application environments through proactive and reactive analysis as well as maintenance.
Propose and implement systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system
Apply in-depth knowledge of client/server networks to analyze and develop robust solutions.
Efficiently manage ticket queue for employees to meet and exceed service level agreements.
Tackle highly complex problems with innovative solutions and strategic thinking.
Thorough understanding of key business drivers and ability to communicate and translate those needs to technical solutions.
Manage critical projects with general direction and allocate work to other team members.
Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations , or decisions
Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Identify and propose opportunities for revenue generation to leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

Subject matter expertise in managing, analyzing, and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 environments, with a focus on SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
7+ years of experience in advanced PowerShell scripting
Proficiency in client/server networking concepts
Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role, clear communication skills and ability to translate complex business drivers/requirements into technical solutions
Proven ability to lead projects and mentor/coach junior staff.
