Insight Global is looking for a Python Developer to join one of our clients in Richmond VA. The role is expected to be hybrid on-site 3 days per week. The main objective of this role is to support the DQCE organization, work cross-functionally across the data architecture & resiliency team and the data quality & control team to support their Tech ADS platform. The ideal candidate will have strong python development skills in addition to SQL development capabilities. This person will be working in a large scale Hadoop/Oracle environment, working on data quality controls development and automating the DQ controls execution for their resiliency platform. Must be able to automate the data lineage mappings in a highly complex platform. Candidate will be performing significant data analysis in support of the code development requirements. Will be responsible for support activities surrounding the platform's integration into the company's IT architecture enterprise-wide. Responsibilities/Projects include but not limited to:
* TechADS (large scale Hadoop / Oracle platform) DQ Controls development
* Automate DQ Controls Execution
* Data Mapping & Data Lineage Code Development
* Automate the data linage mappings in a highly complex Hadoop/Oracle Platform
* Significant Data Analysis is required in support of the above code development requirements
* Enjoys working in a very fast paced Agile development environment
Pay range is 60-70/hour depending on years of experience.
