Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer with 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud architecture to support a large-scale Azure cloud migration initiative. This individual will lead Azure architecture and landing zone design, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, and build secure, scalable cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong Azure expertise, hands-on experience with Terraform or Bicep, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with executive stakeholders. The pay for this role ranges from $73-$76/hour, based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or infrastructure platform experience
• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Azure environments and cloud architecture solutions
• Azure Administrator Certification: AZ-104
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar tools
• Experience with cloud automation and scripting using PowerShell, .NET, Java, or similar technologies
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, networking, scalability, and cost optimization
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and executive stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification: AZ-305
