Permitting Coordinator

Insight Global is looking for a Permit Coordinator for one of our large Engineering consulting firms.

- Work as member of team to interact with designers, supervisors, and PMs across the program to determine permit needs and work queues.
- Ensure adherence to permitting requirements, safety standards, and right-of-way constraints.
- Track project progress and maintain accurate records and data for compliance and reporting.
- Utilize design software and GIS tools to create detailed construction drawings and layout plans.
- Prepare make-ready engineering (MRE) documentation, bills of material (BOM), and work packages for construction crews.

- Engineering Tech. Degree or Bachelor's degree in a GIS, scientific or equivalent discipline
- GIS Tools experience
- Great written and verbal communication

- Previous permitting experience
- Distribution Experience - Utility experience
- Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools
-- Design experience
- Work Management Systems (WMS) SAP B1 and/or SAGE Experience
- Understanding of NESC codes and practices
