The DMV is seeking an IT System Administrator to join their team to maintain and manage the IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, configuration, and maintenance of their on premise and Azure cloud systems. They will be reporting directly to the IT Chief Architect and Assistant Commissioner; therefore, they should be comfortable talking to high-level management. This is a junior to mid-level position where they are looking for someone who is autonomous and looking for longevity and career advancement opportunities.
* Administer, maintain, and provide operational support the organization's IT infrastructure, including on-premise systems as well as cloud systems, specifically Azure.
* Experience managing, configuring, and troubleshooting applications within Windows Server.
* Experience providing operational support to Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics, or SCOM.
* Install, configure, and update the hardware and software components to ensure optimal system performance
* Monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and optimize IT resources
* Ensure that DMVs systems comply with industry regulations and internal policies
