IT Project Manager

The project manager will manage software implementation, integration, development or upgrade projects ranging from $100k to $1M, covering platforms such as web, cloud, mobile, GIS, financial systems, customer systems and SCADA. Projects may include outside vendors and PM manages those contracts. Mostly waterfall methodology, but may run projects as Agile, where appropriate. Individual PM will run 3-5 projects.

Must haves:

· Experience managing major projects in large corporate or enterprise environments with experience with budgets of at least $3M and teams of 15+ people.

· Experience with waterfall methodologies.

· Skilled at developing project schedule and budget estimates, tracking against them and reporting progress.

· Demonstrated understanding of project risk management.

· Experienced with process for selecting vendor through RFP, negotiating SOW and managing vendor performance.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills at all organization levels, including senior leadership.

· Experience with PMI / PMBOK project management processes

· Experienced establishing and maintaining project governance plan including working with project sponsor, steering committee and stakeholders.

Plusses:

· PMP

· Six-sigma blue or black belts a plus.

· Proficient with Microsoft Project

· Experience with SAP

Knowledge of earned value analysis.
