Details:
External Networks is seeking a Release Manager for Threat to support Release Deployment new deployments of Security Systems in support of strategic and BAU projects and Lifecycle Management Refresh initiatives upgrading Hardware and Software to mitigate End-of-Life equipment and/or Non-Permitted Technologies.

The Cybersecurity Release Manager provides project management and administrative support for all strategic initiatives managed by the Threat Team. This position requires the oversight of our Book of Work BoW to ensure projects and BAU work efforts are well-managed that preparations and logistics occur to achieve targeted schedules and that our annual commitments are met. Responsibilities include project planning and change management duties to clearly track work efforts build schedules create change records perform customer coordination represent at Change Approval Boards CAB and that during change windows all communications occur in a good way to track progress and keep stakeholders informed. Change Management Project Management and Risk Management are all central areas of responsibility for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide best in class Threat solutions to meet business requirements and customer needs.

* Manage our Book of Work which consists of several projects assigned to our organization.

* Support and cooperate cross-functional initiatives with other technical teams including Data Router Switch Load Balancers Service Request Fulfillment SRF and others.

* Administer and facilitate successful upgrades and implementation of new secure environments so that devices are addressed prior to risks occurring.

* Manage the intake process for new initiatives to ensure scope is comprehensive and schedule is realistic to deliver the intended outcome with zero impact to the production network.

* Follow ordering procedures such as obtaining quotes order processing shipping logistics financial management and work order submissions.

* Adhere to work effort and project close-out practices such as database updates asset tracking inventory systems records retention and the related systems tools and process updates.

* Oversee variety of existing processes and evolving business requirements to produce successful outcomes.

* Identify improvement opportunities for service delivery and objectively measure the effects of these efforts over time.

* Interface and collaborate with peer technology engagement teams various levels of management and clients to deliver technical Perimeter and Threat solutions.

Desired Skills

* Experience with ITSM and Remedy Ticketing System.

* Over 5 years Project/Program Management experience. PMP or ITIL certification preferred.

* B.S. degree in Business Management Computer Science or equivalent.

* Experience working in an Agile environment.

* Leadership skills during technical troubleshooting triages with strong analytical skills.

* Understanding of Bank Change Management and Risk Management processes.

* Ability to accurately estimate costs and implement project plans within financial guidelines.

* Cybersecurity experience specifically with Financial services i.e. Banking Investment Banking is a plus.
