Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Manager that is responsible for ensuring all projects are executed with safety and environmental compliance as the primary focus for all personnel involved. They must maintain awareness of the status of activities within scheduled work windows and resolve conflicts as they arise, which requires maintaining a physical presence on the job site(s) for at least 80% of the projects duration. The role includes performing site construction oversight inspections to monitor the quality of work and materials provided by vendors and subcontractors. This involves inspecting work quality and adherence to contract specifications to meet regulatory requirements, codes, and company standards using visual observation, construction knowledge, and application of skills. The Construction Manager ensures tha our client receives the products and services specified in the purchase order (PO) and that these products and services will perform as required. They must understand the Scope of Work (SOW) and ensure the supplier executes the work according to the SOW and all applicable specifications and standards, reporting any deviations from contract specifications or materials to the Project Manager. Additionally, the Construction Manager provides quality inspection reports and status updates to management upon request or as needed, and offers feedback to contractors, engineers, safety personnel, and general management concerning any issues or concerns encountered. Hourly rate ranges from $50-$85 per hour based off of experience.

Required Skills & Experience

Expertise in power generation, pollution control, construction practices, and OSHA safety standards.
Proven skills in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling to meet deadlines, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in reading technical documents and preparing reports.
Competent in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Over 7 years in construction, engineering, or management, including at least 3 years in construction management.
