Data Center Technician

We are seeking an enterprise level Data Center Technician in the Richmond Virginia area.

Receive new equipment
o Assess for damage
o Verify model and serial numbers from packing slip or invoice
o Add to inventory control system
Relocate or stage equipment
Provide notification and status
Work with Data Center and Network Administrators to determine where equipment needs to be racked
o Request network connectivity drawings
Rack, cable, and power equipment per specifications
Perform walkdowns, create and apply labels, and run cables
Maintain all data center related documentation, diagrams and rack elevation drawings
Maintain Data Centers in a safe, clean and productive status
Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and work from a step ladder at heights up to 96 to reach cable raceways
Assist Data Center team with equipment decommissioning and disposal
Work locations will be three facilities in greater Richmond area
o This in an onsite not remote work position
