Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Construction Safety Instructor local to the Richmond, VA area to deliver in-person construction and general industry safety training. This role is responsible for leading OSHA-compliant trainings for groups of 10–20 employees in both classroom and jobsite settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include HR onboarding, OSHA 10 and 30 outreach training, excavation safety, electrical safety, and training related to underground utilities and overhead power hazards. The specialist will tailor training delivery to field employees working in gas, water, and electric environments, with occasional VDOT-related training. Strong presentation skills and the ability to manage and engage a diverse group of workers are essential. This position is ideal for a safety professional, trainer, or educator who enjoys teaching, presenting, and working directly with field teams.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience as a trainer or educator OR strong experience as a safety professional
- Self-starter attitude

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Ability to speak both English and Spanish
- OSHA 10 or 30 Trainer certifications
- First-aid/CPR certification
