Insight Global is looking for a Class 1 Water Treatment Operator to join one of our clients in the Richmond area. In this position you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and monitoring of water treatment processes to ensure regulatory compliance and safe delivery of clean water to the community.
Operate and maintain pumps, valves, chemical feed systems, and other equipment used in water treatment processes
Monitor water quality by collecting and analyzing samples according to established procedures
Adjust treatment methods and chemical dosing based on lab results and operating data
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of treatment facility components
Record operational data and prepare reports for internal use and regulatory agencies
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues under supervision
Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times
Support senior operators in emergency response and operational adjustments
