Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, agile methodologies, and a proven track record of designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification within 30 days of hire.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications using agile methods.
Switch between different programming languages and learn new ones as necessary.
Write source code for new applications and enhance code samples for existing applications.
Perform code reviews and debug merge requests.
Work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
Collaborate with product management and software engineering teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Utilize extreme programming and agile methodologies to ensure efficient and effective software development processes.

Required Skills & Experience

· 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
· 5+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
· Experience with switching between different languages and learning new ones, as necessary
· Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
· Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
· Experience performing code reviews and debugging merge requests
· Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
· TS/SCI clearance
· Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in software engineering or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
Ability to obtain DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification within 30 days of hire date

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience with Java, including Java Spring Framework, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal
· Experience creating solutions for large data sets and managing data stores
· Experience with structured and unstructured data types, especially non-textual sources, such as video, audio, and imagery
· Experience in working with various intelligence disciplines, including GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT of the data and tools associated with these disciplines
· Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
· Experience with testing frameworks, including Jasmine, Karma, or Selenium
· Experience with administration of continuous integration or continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub actions, or similar
· Knowledge of standards in JavaScript, JSON, REST, CORS, Web architecture, and HTTP specification
Masters Degree
