Splunk ITSI Developer

• Design and configure ITSI services, KPIs, glass tables, and notable events.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports to support IT operations and business needs.
• Integrate data from various sources into Splunk and ensure effective data ingestion and normalization.
• Optimize Splunk queries and searches for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Splunk ITSI environment.
• Document configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Leverage and integrate third-party monitoring platforms such as Datadog, AppDynamics, and OpsBridge Manager to enhance observability and data correlation.

• 3+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise and ITSI.
• Strong knowledge of SPL (Search Processing Language) and regular expressions.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, AppDynamics, or OpsBridge Manager.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows administration.
• Ability to create and manage knowledge objects (macros, event types, field extractions).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
