Job Description

An enterprise client is seeking an exceptional software engineer who has already embraced AI as a force multiplier and understands that great engineering starts with the user, not the technology. In this role, you'll architect and build data-intensive systems that solve real problems for defense operators, leveraging AI and agentic solutions to deliver outsized impact. You'll work in a fast-moving, small team environment where individual decisions matter and bureaucracy doesn't exist. This individual will report directly to the CTO and be a part of a team of five high performing R&D team members. This role is contingent on contract award and requires ~30% travel. This is a remote position, with preference for candidates located in the DC Metro area, Colorado, or Hawaii.

We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment opportunities without regard to race, religion, sex, age, marital status, national origin, sexual orientation, citizenship status, disability, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to Human Resources Request Form. The EEOC "Know Your Rights" Poster is available here.
