Job Description
Daily tasks include reviewing submittals from subcontractors, routing them to the DOR, and managing their return via RMS for government review. The role involves maintaining the submittal register, conducting MEP inspections, ensuring compliance with federal specs and drawings, and collaborating with teams to resolve quality issues. This is a hands-on position requiring strong mechanical expertise with government contracting workflows.
Key Responsibilities
· Implement and manage QC processes for MEP systems in compliance with US Government contract requirements.
· Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process work, and final installations.
· Manage submittals: receive from subcontractors, review, send to DOR, track in RMS, and return to government.
· Maintain and track submittal register.
· Ensure compliance with RFPs, specs, drawings, and industry standards.
· Analyze quality data, troubleshoot issues, and drive corrective actions.
· Train staff on QC procedures and maintain documentation.

Required Skills & Experience
· 5+ years of Quality Control experience on vertical federal government construction contracts (USACE, DOD, NAVFAC)
· Experience with RMS and submittal workflows
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
· HVAC certification
