Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated and experienced operations manager to oversee the daily operations of a circuit breaker repair depot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing workflow, ensuring quality control, and tracking key performance metrics to optimize production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of breaker shop personnel.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
Monitor and track key performance metrics, including productivity, quality, and safety.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow and productivity.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems including breakers as well as tools and equipment needed for refurbishment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in using manufacturing softwares and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experince in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field
Associates or Bachelors degree
