A client is in the defense industry is looking to add 10 Manufacturing Technicians to their team on site in Norfolk, VA! This person will be responsible for electro-optic cable terminations and jointing, sub-surface communications, cable management, and electronics assembly. Day to day tasks include fiber optic splicing, potting mechanical and electronic components, Hi-pot testing, and performing coarse and fine adjustments using hand tools.

2+ years of experience as a cable/manufacturing technician
Ability to obtain a secret clearance (not required to start)
2+ Fiber Optic experience (sub-surface communication, electro-mechanical, splicing, potting components)
