Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Manufacturing Engineers to join their team in Hanover, MD/Providence, RI/Norfolk, VA. The Engineers will develop, implement, and analyzes manufacturing engineering plans and projects and communicates them to internal and external customers. Defines, develops and transfers manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems. Develops manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes. Actively participates with engineering project teams in order to coordinate the release of new products. Estimates and tracks manufacturing costs, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
CAD experience preferably Solid Works
Quality-Focused Mindset
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
SAP knowledge
GD&T knowledge and experience
3D modeling experience
Experience with complex electro-mechanical and optical assemblies.
Experience with creating and modifying Work Instructions, Routers, etc. associated with Manufacturing Processes.
Proven track record of solving complex engineering problems and implementing innovative solutions in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 industry standards
Process Improvement Experience/Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt)
Fixturing Design Experience
