Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Junior Construction Inspector in the VA Beach area!

This is a boots-on-the-ground QA/QC role supporting active VDOT roadway and bridge construction projects. The inspector will work independently on less complex assignments and assist senior inspectors on more complex ones.

Responsibilities include:

Field inspections and documentation
Daily reporting and compliance checks
Safety oversight and issue resolution
Coordination with contractors, clients, and internal teams
Flexibility to work in all weather conditions and night shifts

Required Skills & Experience

1-3 years of experience in a construction-related field
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read and understand construction plans/specs
Basic math skills (geometry/trig)
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to work in the field and maintain certifications
