Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal CNC operator for our client in Norfolk, VA. This candidate will have experience operating press brakes and using precision lasers to bend and form aluminum, copper, brass, and steel materials. This candidate will be experienced with the following work packages, interpreting schematics, and providing prompt feedback on work completed. This role is fully on-site, no travel required, and the hours are Monday through Friday, 6 am – 2:30 pm. The salary is based on years of experience and ranges between $30-$40/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

4-6 years of sheet metal experience.
Experience operating a press brake (Amada preferred) and laser machine, accounting for precise measurements, cuts, and bends.
Experience working with aluminum, brass, copper, and steel materials.
Knowledgeable with interpreting blueprints.
Ability to use and read a tape measure.
Experience with basic tools such as calipers, micrometers, and precision squares.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CAD experience (2D)
Experience programming
