Job Description
Insight Global is looking for two manufacturing fabricators/welders specializing in Mig and Tig welding and has 3–5 years of fabrication experience to support third-shift production, performing approximately 60% fabrication and 40% welding. This role is located in Norfolk, VA and involves precision sheet metal fabrication and welding of aluminum electrical boxes and power panel frames, requiring the ability to read drawings and hold tolerances of ±0.030 inches. Candidates must have a strong fabrication background, be comfortable with measurements and QA inspection, and pass required plate weld certifications (horizontal and vertical, 3G, steel and aluminum), including a weld test. This position starts with an initial one-month onboarding period on first-shift prior to full third-shift assignment. The third-shift hours are Monday through Friday, 10:30 PM - 7 AM EST and the pay ranges between $35–$40 per hour based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of experience as a fabricator/welder specializing in Mig and Tig welds.
Deep understanding of tolerance checks, performing precision welds, and identifying discrepancies within the welds.
Proven fabrication experience handling aluminum and steel parts.
Ability to pass 3G welding tests.
