Job Description

Insight Global is looking for two electrical breaker technicians to support our client in Norfolk, Virginia. The right candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in the full lifecycle of electronic diagnostics, disassembly and reassembly of electronic breakers, and performing electrical testing to ensure compliance is fully met. The working schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM EST, and the pay ranges between $30-$36/hr. (flexible based on years of experience) with a 13% hourly increase for all third-shift staff.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of experience with evaluating, assembling, disassembling, and testing of electronic components (ideally circuit breakers or power panels)
Experience documenting work progress, signing off on work packages, and making recommendations for best practices.
Highly experienced in tearing down electrical components, diagnosing issues, testing, and documenting repairs.
Experience using basic electrical testing equipment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous ET in the Navy with a focus on nuclear systems
Former industrial-level journeyman electrician – experience within diagnostics and troubleshooting.
A former electrical service technician with a NETA I or II certification.
