Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a QC Specialist who will be responsible for supporting quality control efforts for Consumer Lending. Performs daily and monthly reviews of quality control reports and informs management of results. Reconciles Consumer lending related vendor invoices. Performs equity servicing functions to include subordination requests, payoffs and certificates of satisfaction. Ensures Virginia Credit Union is listed as lien holder on titles securing VACU debt for both vehicle loans and home equity lines/loans. Responsible for all phases of the title administration process. Promotes quality service and teamwork among other employees and ensures appropriate measures are taken that corrections are made to quality control findings. Provides information to third parties as requested regarding members’ information on their vehicle titles, Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) insurance, Major Mechanical Protection (MMP) warranty coverage, CUNA insurance, etc. Receives, documents, answers and responds by telephone or in writing to inquiries regarding claims. The pay rate for this role is $28-32hr depending on skillset.

Required Skills & Experience

• Reviews daily and monthly Consumer Lending Quality Control Reports and Exception Reports. Researches, documents, make appropriate corrections, and communicates findings to appropriate lending managers.
• Reviews the monthly CUNA premium reports to ensure premiums are calculating/posting correctly, accounts are aging out correctly and insurance is not posting on past due accounts. Prepares monthly totals of all the insurance postings for loans and lines for each type of coverage for accounting.
• Reviews monthly GAP and MMP sales to verify the correct members are charged and for the correct amount. Reviews monthly SWBC reports to ensure all members listed have purchased a gap and/or a warranty. Makes corrections to the SWBC report as necessary to ensure accurate billing.
• Regularly works with GAP and Warranty vendors. Helps assist vendors with obtaining additional documentation. Processes Gap and Warranty refunds. Performs GAP Administration and maintenance.
• Reviews CUDL New Members report monthly to determine which CUDL dealership will be receiving an additional compensation for opening a new membership with VACU.
• Reconciles Consumer lending vendor invoices. Ensures that charges are accurate with contracts. Ensures invoices are submitted timely to accounting for payment. Records and tracks vendor costs for budgeting purposes.
• Assists with research for Audit requests or findings, gathers/prepares requesting documentation.
• Responsible for processing, filing and maintaining all CUNA claims.
• Responsible for processing, filing and maintaining all Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) claims.
• Responsible for processing all Third Party payoffs and title releases for vehicles.
• Responsible for training GAP, MMP and CUNA processes to team members.
• Responsible for processing, filing and maintaining Major Mechanical Protection (MMP) warranty coverage.
