Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an IT Service Coordinator to serve as the primary liaison between business units and IT service providers. This role is responsible for managing service requests, supporting escalations, and translating business needs into clear technical requirements. The Coordinator ensures requests are properly documented, aligned with VITA processes and governance standards, and routed to the appropriate teams for resolution. The pay range for this role is $22-$29/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

-4–6 years of experience in IT service coordination, service delivery, or request management
-Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly document and explain technical and non-technical information
-Ability to gather, clarify, and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements
-Experience managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and follow-through
-Proven ability to work with stakeholders and maintain confidence during high-pressure situations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience working in a multi-vendor or outsourced IT environment
-Familiarity with IT service request, incident, or intake processes
-Ability to assess and communicate business impact, urgency, and priorities
-Experience supporting service performance tracking, metrics, or reporting
-Exposure to process improvement initiatives
-Experience in government or public safety environments
