Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an IT Senior Application Analyst (HRIS) based in Richmond, VA. This Analyst will serve as a Human Resources business functions' subject matter expert and will assist with the creation and operational phases of the HR applications. They will work with IT, Business, and HR teams to oversee Workday service delivery and vendor support, along with drive continuous improvement solutions. This role requires 5+ years' experience in IT and/or HR business processes for application management, and 3+ years' experience managing outsourced providers for application support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday, including creating and maintaining the intranet page, reporting, managing modules such as Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Absence Compensation, and Recruiting, assisting with release management, overseeing incident requests, and supporting payroll processes. They should have experience providing end-user support, including one-on-one assistance, and demonstrate proficiency in system design, documentation, business process optimization, and governance. This role requires acting as a subject matter expert on IT applications for HR systems, leading process and system changes through design, build, and testing phases, and implementing change management practices. Additional responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating with vendors to resolve issues and implement new solutions, and ensuring service delivery aligns with SLAs, company SOPs, and policies. The Analyst will collaborate with Payroll, HR, IT leadership, and other stakeholders to develop HR application roadmaps and improve systems and processes. They will provide technical support for business projects to meet schedule, budget, and quality objectives, review incident metrics, and implement Sarbanes-Oxley and IT controls. Routine IT administration tasks, authorizing IT governance and procedure documents, and supporting HR processes are also key components of this role. The salary for this role ranges from $112,000-$130,000, based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Human Resources or a related field
• Experience within the pharmaceutical or life science industry
• 5+ years' experience in IT and/or HR business processes for application management
• 3+ years' experience managing outsourced providers for application support
• Strong experience with Workday: creating and overseeing the intranet page; modules (Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Absence Compensation, Recruiting, etc); reporting; assisting with release management; overseeing incident requests; and Payroll processes
• Experience with end user support, such as 1-2-1 support
• Experience with system design, documentation, business process optimization and governance
• Experience as a subject matter expert on IT applications for creating and implementing HR systems
• Strong leadership experience to maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience coordinating with vendors and providing business support to resolve issues, implement new solutions, and serve as the point of compact to ensure SLA's comply with the company's SOPs and policies
• Collaboration experience with Payroll, HR, IT leadership and other stakeholders for IT and HR applications road mapping, improving systems and processes
• Experience with SLA's to ensure completion
• Experience providing technical support and business projects in achieving budget, schedule, and high quality objectives, along with reviewing incident metrics
• Experience implementing Sarbanes Oxley and IT controls
• Experience leading process and system changes through designing, building, and testing phases, such as change management
• Experience performing IT administration work, authorizing IT procedure documents and governance, and HR support
