Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer to join one of their top financial clients in the McLean, VA area. This individual will be joining the Public division of Global Banking Markets technology, specifically the RIA Engineering group. This team is focused on a new number of new initiatives centered around their two more popular products. This efforts are combination of maintenance of the current environment, as well as optimization efforts. We are seeking a Windows Engineer to join the team, focused on both daily operations, maintenance and project based work. This person will be responsible for daily operations of the Enterprise Data Center (EDC) and Secondary Data Center (SDC) virtual infrastructure environment that includes VMware & Hyper-V products. We are seeking someone strong in overall Windows Servers and VMware, with scripting and automation skills for ad hoc technical projects.

-3-9 years experience within UNIX/Windows environment
-Strong background with VMware - should have prior experience with installation and configuration
-Scripting experience (Bash, Python or Perl)
-Strong experience managing both physical and virtual servers (should be able to provision and patch)
