One of our clients is looking to hire for a Supply Chain Systems Engineer to support design and delivery out of McLean, VA. This will be a fully onsite role, working 9AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday.
This individual will be responsible for responsible for designing and implementing engineered transport solutions that ensure cargo safety, compliance, and efficiency throughout the logistics lifecycle. This is a cross-functional technical role blending mechanical design, logistics integration, and program execution. This individual will lead the integration between engineering design, manufacturing, and logistics execution, ensuring every solution performs flawlessly from production floor to delivery site.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials or Systems Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace, heavy manufacturing, logistics engineering, or supply-chain optimization.
- Proven capability in mechanical design, complex product packaging, supply chain operations, platform or fixture engineering, and cargo movement analysis.
- Familiar with CAD tools (Creo, or Inventor) and structural validation tools (FEA, test correlation).
- Understanding of logistics routing, carrier operations, and handling standards.
- Strong communication skills - will be interfacing with clients and internal teams alike
