Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience with Performance Engineering with demonstrated experience in Planning, Design, Execution, Analysis and Conclusion phases.
Experience with Implementing Performance test Plans with understanding of NFRs, SLAs and Additional test requirements to orchestrate large load tests.
Extensive experience in Planning, Script Design, Workload Modeling of Performance tests. Extensive experience with LoadRunner VuGen, Analysis and Controller preferred.
Experience with Large load test execution and Post test Analysis of Performance test results.
Experience with Test result Reporting inclusive of Conclusive Artifacts and Next step recommendations.
Familiarity of Performance Engineering Terminology and Test types along ability to derive technical and architectural understanding of Applications.
Validate the performance requirements by validating and analyzing traffic.
Provide general, overall support, troubleshooting, and resolution of stress testing and capacity/performance problems reported from the field, whether on development, test, production, or disaster/recovery domains/machines.
Gather performance metrics such as CPU utilization, disk I/O utilization, network transfer rate, transactions per second, and response time to provide input to production deployment recommendation.
Performance Test/Analysis Tools: Open Text LoadRunner Enterprise, LoadRunner Professional, LoadRunner Cloud, Fiddler, HTTP Analyzer and Chrome Developer tools
LoadRunner protocols: Web (HTTP/HTML) , True Client, Web Services
Programming languages: At least one Programming Language such as C, Java, Python, Java Script
Hardware Platforms: Windows/LINUX Servers, ESX/HP x86 and cross-platform microcomputers, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker container
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
Bachelor's degree

Experience with performance engineering in design and development
AppDynamics APM for Analysis
Agile and Performance Testing Certification
