Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Field Service Engineers to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance on the tools once they are installed. The first 15 days will be safety and web based trainings. From there, the first 30 days they will be scheduled for a 3 week training. They will then do on the job training where they will shadow other engineers on how to effectively work on the equipment. This requires excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude as you will be sustaining the tools that have been installed and ensuring they are effectively running at all times.

Required Skills & Experience

Comfortable with 30% travel
o They will be mostly be doing sustain work in Manassas, VA but there are going to be times that this person might be asked to go to the Boise site to help out.
- Strong troubleshooting skills - ability to speak on thought process on maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
- Experience using a Multimeter - Continuity Checks, Amperage, Voltage, Resistance
- Experience working with a torque wrench
- Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out Process - (LOTO)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
• Experience supporting semiconductor equipment
• Military experience in the following MOS’:
o Avionics Technician
o Load Master
o Electronics Technician
o Vehicle Tech
