About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineer Project Lead IV to support large-scale engineering initiatives within the nuclear energy sector. This individual will lead cross-functional engineering efforts tied to the licensing and development of fuel products used in commercial nuclear reactors.
This is a high-impact role that combines technical expertise, project leadership, and stakeholder communication, supporting projects that directly contribute to clean energy solutions across North America.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support complex engineering projects involving multiple technical disciplines
Partner with Project Managers and engineering teams to develop and execute project plans
Collect and consolidate status updates across engineering functions and report progress to leadership
Facilitate resolution of technical challenges related to:
Neutronics
Safety Analysis
Thermal-Hydraulics
Fuel Rod Analysis
Perform engineering design, analysis, testing, and evaluation activities
Conduct independent reviews of technical work products, including:
Risk Assessments
Root Cause / Apparent Cause Analyses
Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA)
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal engineering procedures
Develop and implement process improvements and recommend efficiency enhancements
Interface with internal teams, customers, and regulatory bodies to communicate technical updates
Provide solutions to complex problems with limited oversight

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $116,000 – $129,000 (depending on experience)

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related discipline such as Physics, Engineering Technology, or Engineering Science)
5+ years of relevant engineering experience
Strong understanding of engineering principles, standards, and technical problem-solving methods
Proven ability to lead initiatives and work independently on complex assignments
Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships
Experience with technical tools, software, or programming relevant to engineering analysis
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting nuclear power plant licensing or safety analysis
Knowledge of Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) systems
Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering projects
Ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, customers, and regulators
