Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Sr Google workspace engineer to support a large government customer. This person will be responsible for:
Infrastructure Management: Plan, deploy, configure, new environments and maintain GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, etc.).
Security and Compliance: Implement security protocols, manage firewalls, monitor for threats, and ensure data protection.
User & Access Management: Create/manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and access policies (IAM).
Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, analyze usage, and optimize resource allocation for cost and efficiency.
Automation and Scripting: Develop scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks and manage cloud functions.
Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve platform issues, respond to alerts, and provide technical support.

Required Skills & Experience
Google Cloud Certification (Active or Willingness to Obtain)
5+ years of integration, systems analysis, or programming experience
3+ years of developing systems requirements and design specifications in Google
Experience collaborating with technical teams of diverse IT related skillsets
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Azure cloud and deployment in government environments
