Job Description
Peraton is seeking a Senior SIEM Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise logging and observability transformation. This individual will play a key role in the migration from Splunk to Coralogix while helping design, implement, and optimize OpenTelemetry-based telemetry pipelines across a cloud-native AWS environment.
The ideal candidate has hands-on SIEM engineering experience, strong OpenTelemetry expertise, enterprise logging knowledge, and experience working with modern observability platforms such as Coralogix, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, or Sumo Logic.

-8+ years of Security Engineering, SIEM Engineering, or Observability Engineering experience
-Strong Splunk engineering background
-Experience implementing, deploying, or integrating OpenTelemetry (OTeL)
-Experience with observability platforms such as:
-Coralogix
-Datadog
-Dynatrace
-New Relic
-Sumo Logic
-AWS cloud experience
-Enterprise logging and telemetry experience
-Client-facing communication skills
-Project management / implementation experience
-U.S. Citizen eligible for Public Trust
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Lead and support the migration from Splunk to Coralogix
-Design and implement OpenTelemetry (OTeL) solutions
-Build and maintain enterprise logging and telemetry pipelines
-Integrate cloud-native AWS services with observability platforms
-Develop detections, dashboards, alerts, and monitoring capabilities
-Optimize SIEM performance and security visibility
-Support security investigations and operational monitoring
-Partner directly with client stakeholders and engineering teams
-Manage project deliverables, timelines, and platform enhancements
