Job Description

Our client is looking for a remote Salesforce Developer to support a large federal contract. This individual will be responsible for:


Developing and managing data streams to ingest data from various cloud sources like AWS Redishift, other Salesforce clouds
Utilize AWS services (e.g., AWS Glue, Lambda, and S3) to build, manage, and optimize the data transfer processes between Data Cloud and Redshift.
Designing and configuring data models within Data Cloud to align with business requirements. This includes creating and managing Data Model Objects (DMOs) and mapping Data Lake Objects (DLOs) to DMOs.
Develop and query the Data Cloud Companion Org - Data Model Objects using custom code (Apex) and declarative solutions (Flow) for fetch attributes related to salesforce records
Design and define the data schema for ingestion using OpenAPI (YAML) format to accurately represent external data.
Strong experience with REST APIs and a solid understanding of API-first integration patterns.
Extending Data Cloud functionality using code where necessary, including Apex, JavaScript, and APIs.
Configuring and managing identity resolution rulesets to match and unify customer data from disparate sources
Writing SQL queries to build Calculated Insights that derive new metrics and dimensions from the unified data.
Ensure seamless data and process synchronization between the Companion Org and the primary Data Cloud instance.
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code that adheres to Salesforce and industry best practices.
Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and participate in quality assurance to ensure the reliability and scalability of all solutions.

salary ranges from $60-85/HR

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in related field
5-7+ years of relative experience in Salesforce development and engineering
Strong understanding of working in a data cloud environment - must have hands on experience doing multiple data cloud integrations not just advising on the process
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
Data Cloud certification (plus)
