Job Description
A client is looking for a fully remote AWS Software Engineer with expertise in automating container security and Twistlock Remediation to join their team. The ideal candidate will become part of a Data Center and Cloud Optimization program providing Tier 3 support to the Homeland Advanced Recognition Technology biometric system. This position focuses on developing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests in support of the Tier 3 engineering team responsible for maintaining and optimizing a large biometric system. The developer will work closely with software engineers, system administrators, and cybersecurity professionals to ensure code quality and operational integrity of critical biometric services. Tier 3 members are expected to be on-call for a week at a time approximately 4 -- 6 times a year. This is a fully remote role working 9-3pm EST for their core hours.

Required Skills & Experience
-Ability to obtain DHS EOD
-Minimum of 5 years of IT experience
-5 years of experience as a Cloud Security Engineer in an AWS Environment
-Knowledge of security counter measures, NIST 800-53 guidelines, and RMF
-Knowledge/Experience with Government infrastructure
-Dynatrace or Twistlock experience
-Robust experience in Splunk tool suite (including but not limited to Splunk Security Essentials, Splunk SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Related STEM field.
-Cloud Systems Administration experience; AWS certifications a PLUS.
-GCIH, CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Professional, CCSP, GISCP, or GSEC Certifications
