Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Cyber Technical Solutions Engineer to support a high-impact federal customer. This individual will act as both a technical leader and customer-facing advisor, guiding a small team while directly engaging with stakeholders to deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions. The role brings together leadership, engineering, and consulting- someone who can translate mission needs into technical execution, support GRC tooling customization, and step in hands-on when necessary. Ideal candidates are comfortable owning client relationships and bring a strong foundation in cybersecurity experience within federal spaces.

Required Skills & Experience

•Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
•Bachelor’s Degree + 8+ years of experience (degree may be flexible depending on YOE)
•Demonstrated leadership experience (leading teams, projects, or initiatives—people management not required)
•IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent)
•Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification, such as: CEH, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, CND, CYSA+ (Can give contingent offer if candidate is obtaining cert)
•Experience with GRC Tool solutioning (ex. Xacta)
•Experience using Python to build API and systems integration
•Ability to operate in both leadership and hands-on technical capacity
•Experience with Linux, Linux administration, and virtual platforms
•Strong client-facing communication skills (stakeholder engagement, documentation)
•Understand and familiar with RMF (Risk Management Framework)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

•Experience with Xacta or other GRC tools
•AWS or cloud environment experience (any cloud provider acceptable)
•Prior experience supporting federal/DIA environments
