Required Skills & Experience

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software applications.
• Architect and implement solutions using AWS cloud platforms, including serverless and containerized services.
• Explore and integrate Generative AI capabilities (e.g., LLM APIs, prompt engineering, AI-assisted development tools) into existing and new applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and recommend adoption of relevant technologies and frameworks.
• Support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
Basic Qualifications:
• 3-9 (Journeyman Level) or 9+ (Senior Level) years of experience in software development with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Java and modern frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and secure coding practices.
•Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with front-end development using React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with GenAI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI) and their integration into software workflows.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudFormation, and API Gateway.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AWS CodeWhisperer).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading technical discussions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and technical guidance.
