Job Description

Insight Global is looking to fill an Application Developer to support a federal financial client of ours in a modernization project of tax processing systems. This candidate will be responsible for assistance with design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of the platform used by the federal government.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- extensive experience with CRL (Core Record Layout), QSAM Data Formats.

- experience with IBM z/OS assembly language.

* including understanding assembly instructions, addressing modes, data manipulation techniques, and job control processing.

- knowledge of CA Endevor SCM tool.

- knowledge BMC Control-M and automating job scheduling, managing workflows, and monitoring job execution.

- experience with legacy mainframe data formats such as DB2, QSAM, VSAM data formats.

- Understanding of java code: java syntax, libraries, frameworks, and best practices.
