A client is looking for a fully remote AWS Database Administrator to join their team. The Database team maintains the HART Database by installing and configuring database, data migration, monitoring system performance, resolving customer tickets within JIRA and supporting system incident troubleshooting calls. Database members closely interact with the government customer to achieve system objectives, provide ticket updates, and system status updates. Database members are expected to be on-call for a week at a time approximately
6 9 times a year. This is a fully remote role working 9-3pm EST for their core hours.

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Related STEM field.
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Database Specialty)
-Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Grafana, or pgBadger
-Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization techniques
-Experience with database high availability and disaster recovery strategies
-Experience with automation tools for database administration tasks
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar
-Knowledge of database security best practices
-Background in agile development environments
-Experience with JIRA Ticketing systems preferred
-Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
