Insight Global is looking for a Floodplain Coordinator to join one of our local government clients. The Floodplain Coordinator will:
- Assist in implementation of the County's National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and Community Rating System (CRS)
- Work closely with Floodplain Reviewer and oversee the review of development projects as they relate to floodplain ordinance requirements
- Coordnate with engineering consultants and overseeing floodplain projects
- Assist manager in providing technical assistance to the general public, county staff, and other stakeholders
- Prepping and reviewing state and federal grants
Assist with flood-related planning and policy activities such as hazard mitigation planning, resilience planning, flood plain acquisition program development and implementation, floodplain mapping and interpretation.
