Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a tech specialist 3. This specialist will be onsite supporting mission‑critical projects, leading startup, functional commissioning, and Integrated Systems Testing for BMS/EMCS systems. On a daily basis, you’ll act as the technical go‑to on site—troubleshooting controls logic, networking, and BMS/EMCS systems. You’ll integrate BMS with major electrical and mechanical equipment (UPS, generators, PDUs, ATSs), execute and document test procedures. As a senior technician, you’ll also mentor junior technicians and help guide the team through complex commissioning and field challenges.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5–8 years of experience with BMS(Building Management Systems) or HVAC controls systems or EMCS(electrical monitor control systems)
• Hands‑on experience with startup, point‑to‑point testing, and basic functional testing
• Strong experience with BMS systems such as Niagara, Siemens, or Schneider will work, preferably Niagara
• Strong understanding of BACnet/IP, Modbus, and IP‑based control networks which
• Able to troubleshoot controllers, sensors, field devices, and HVAC equipment
• Experience working with HVAC systems (AHUs, CRACs, chillers, VFDs)
Comes from a mission critical facility (Data Center, military installation, hospital)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelors or Associates degree in an engineering space
• Certified in BMS (Niagara certified)
Experience managing technicians in the past
