Technology Strategic Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled, energetic, dynamic, and passionate Aerospace Systems Engineer and Integrator
to join a Research, Science, and Engineering Services organization onsite at NASA in Hampton, VA. The role will support STMDs Programs and the Cross-Domain Integration Lead in helping to develop, mature, and implement the STMD Strategic Framework. This involves integration with Agency-Level Technology experts, communication with senior STMD leadership, and working in a team environment to assess program and portfolio data to provide strategic assessment of STMD investments.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Integration with Agency-Level Technology experts

Communication with senior STMD leadership

Working in a team environment to assess program and portfolio data to provide strategic assessment of STMD investments.

Perform space systems analysis of science and human exploration portfolios for NASA.

Selecting and applying tools and methods to characterize, assess, and optimize strategies defined within these portfolios.

Aid in the design, development, and maintenance of tools and methods for continuance of future assessments of exploration portfolios.

Embrace and enhance knowledge management and innovation within a diverse team of colleagues and external customers.

Work in a highly collaborative environment to see solutions through to resolution as a member of a high functioning team
Pay range for this is between 70-120K

BS or higher in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent

Demonstrated leadership roles within projects or teams.

Very strong oral and written communication skills

Must be able to work within a collaborative development environment

3+ years of engineering and concept development experience

Strategic thinking

Candidates should be able to look at existing components or systems, understand how they work, and know what changes need to be made to satisfy requirements

5+ years of engineering and concept development experience

Familiarity with NASA space and human exploration portfolios.

Proficient in Python, Matlab, VBA, or similar programming
